Financial Counselling for Women affected by Family Violence The project was designed to assist the financial health of women experiencing family violence. Central Highlands Community Legal Centre (CHCLC) Lawyers worked with the Financial Counsellor from Child & Family Services (CAFS) to identify financial issues and refer quickly and easily for timely financial assistance. The Lawyers and Financial Counsellor worked collaboratively to identify legal, financial and policy issues that negatively impact women currently or previously experiencing family violence.
See Willow's Story to read about the impact the program had on assisting one of our clients.
The Financial Counselling Program was supported by the Victorian Government.
